How funny that Cubans would think its weird that Americans would think that hitchhiking might be dangerous. I am so glad you got to share this opportunity with us Judy.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Jessalee however Cubans know very little about America and Americans. It's changing a little thanks to the internet but the net isn't as wide spread as it is here. The net at the hotel was extremely slow or non existent and there were no internet cafes. Danger the way we know it doesn't exist. Petty crime probably is there but I didn't feel it or see it.
